Alain Pinel Realtors Sales Rank 5th Largest in the Nation

May 22, 2014

Record Year for Bay Area Real Estate Firm

SARATOGA, California (May 22, 2014) — Alain Pinel Realtors (APR) closed sales volume in 2013 places them as the fifth largest residential real estate company in the United states for a third consecutive year, according to a notable recent research report produced by REAL Trends. Despite constrained inventory, APR had a record year with a closed sales volume of almost $10.5 billion, a 19% increase over their 2012 sales of $8.8 billion. APR is the only firm in the top five nationally-ranked firms that only operates in one state.
The REAL Trends report confirms APR’s position as the largest privately-owned and independent residential real estate company in California. APR was ranked number two in the U.S. by average sales price at $1,151,901, the highest of any California-based brokerage. APR was also the third fastest growing firm in the state in terms of sales volume.
“Our national rank is indicative of the strength of our brand, the professionalism of our agents, the trust of our clients, and the health of the Northern California real estate market,” says APR Executive Vice President Rainy Hake. “Despite our regional focus, we achieve nationally ranked results through our outstanding marketing and successful strategy of catering to the affluent buyers and sellers of the Bay Area and beyond.”
APR also achieved impressive rankings in RISMedia’s Power Broker report, another publication that ranks the largest brokerages in the United States. APR was similarly ranked number five in the nation based off sales volume. The company was ranked 47th by homes sold with 9,107 homes sold in 2013 – the fourth highest of any California-based brokerage.
The rankings come just weeks after APR was also named the number two of both private and public real estate companies in the Silicon Valley by the Silicon Valley Business Journal, based on $6.41 billion sales within Silicon Valley alone.Top 500 Real Trends

Alain Pinel Realtors Leads Bay Area in National Report on Best Agents in America

November 5, 2013

Alain Pinel Realtors (APR) has more sales professionals represented on the REAL Trends’ Best Real Estate Agents in America list than any other brokerage based in the San Francisco Bay Area. An impressive 66 APR individual sales professionals and 18 sales teams have been named in the newly issued national ranking report produced by REAL Trends. In California, APR agents make up over 10% of the list of real estate professionals who qualified by individual sales volume.
“To have so many of our agents represented reaffirms what we have always have known – APR agents are the best in the nation,” says Rainy Hake, Executive Vice President of APR. “We cannot be more proud of these individuals, their remarkable success in 2012, and their unwavering commitment to providing excellent service to their clients.”
To qualify for inclusion, an individual agent must have closed at least 50 transactions or $20 million in sales volume in 2012. For real estate agent teams, the minimum is 75 transactions or $30 million in closed sales volume.  “The average residential real estate agent in the United States closed fewer than eight transactions in 2012 and had less than $1.5 million in sales,” says Steve Murray, editor of REAL Trends. “To attain this level of sales is truly outstanding.”
These individual honors are the latest accomplishments recognizing APR’s successful sales year in 2012. Earlier this year, APR was named fifth largest real estate firm in the United States based on its record $8.8 billion closed sales volume in 2012 on the REAL Trends’ 500. Locally, the firm was number one in productivity per office in the Silicon Valley, as ranked by the Silicon Valley Business Journal.
REAL Trends’ Best Real Estate Agents in America ranks nearly 6,500 residential real estate agents solely based on their excellence in real estate sales during calendar year 2012. All production numbers are independently verified by a third-party in order to ensure accuracy and report integrity. This group of highly successful real estate sales agents represents less than 1 percent of all real estate practitioners in the United States.
