Santa Clara County Fourth Quarter Market Report

The Santa Clara County real estate market ended the year with a flurry of activity as buyers scrambled to get into any available homes. Multiple offers continued to be the norm, but the number of closed sales for the fourth quarter still ended up 6% below the same quarter last year as a result of low inventory. The single-family median sales price now stands at $1,101,000, 24% above the fourth quarter median sales price of 2016.
