Agent Teams Represent Alain Pinel Realtors at LPS Property Showcase in Shanghai

Alain Pinel Realtors (APR) had a network of agents travel internationally to the 6th consecutive edition of the LPS Property Showcase, held December 6-8 in Shanghai. This invitation-only expo welcomed highly targeted luxury real estate buyers, investors, VIPs, and wealthy individuals.
>During the showcase, APR Menlo Park’s Mary Gullixson participated in a video interview, where she answered questions about her properties and why they are attractive investments for Chinese buyers. APR Saratoga’s Fred Lam, who traveled to the expo with a team of APR agents, also participated in a video interview, as well as taking part as a speaker in the expo’s panel discussion.
“There were over 20 countries around the world who participated in this high-end expo. The US had the most booths present because we are the number one choice for Chinese people,” said Mark Wong of APR Saratoga, who also travelled to the expo with a team of APR agents, and participated in a video interview which was released to different media outlets in China for greater publicity and promotion. “There were at least seven booths representing the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Out of these seven booths, APR agents had four of them.”
In a recent interview with Forbes, Wong said international investors look to buy in the US to diversify their portfolio. With its weather, business opportunities, and public education system, the Silicon Valley is a natural target.
According to the California Association of Realtors Annual Housing Market Survey, the share of international buyers is growing in California, with 30% of international buyers coming from China, and 36% of international buyers bringing in all cash offers. Lam confirms this, saying he is seeing a definite increase in the number of Chinese buyers in the Silicon Valley, with his Chinese clients looking for brand-new, furnished homes built with high-quality materials.
APR has developed a strategic initiative to target international buyers, bringing worldwide exposure to their listings through their international luxury affiliations and global listing syndication. Through the firm’s affiliations with Luxury Portfolio and Leading Real Estate Companies of the World; their property marketing through publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Unique Homes Magazine, Epoch Times and World Journal; and listing syndication to a number of prominent Asian real estate websites such as PropGOLuxury.com, LP-LuxuryProperties.com, okay.com and LPDibiao.com, the firm is achieving an international reach.
